Bartender

Responsibilities include:
• Offering a welcoming, professional, yet casual experience for all guests at the bar and in the bar seating area
• KnowingDough’s list of cocktails, wine, beer, and all other beverages (ingredients, specs, build)
• Ability to suggest specific beverage pairings and food/wine pairings
• A working knowledge of all ingredients and preparation used on the menu, as you will be taking food and beverage orders
• Knowing and following steps of service-taking proper care of guests, while maintaining a sense of urgency
• Knowing how to manage inventory
• Having a high standard of cleanliness and organization of the bar/bar seating area
• Maintainingexcellentcommunication with other bar staff, management, and kitchen staff
• Verifying age requirements

Qualifications:
• At least 2 years experience as a Bartender working in a full-service restaurant
• Passion for food, cocktails, wine, and beer service
• Ability to suggestively sell
• Outgoing personality-a “people person”
• Excellent communication skills with guests, co-workers, and management
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to carry plates, glasses, and silverware using trays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
•Ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
