Lori Barsky Horn was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut. She started her career in the hospitality industry when she was 14. she worked in assisted living facilities, concert catering, restaurants, inns, department store restaurants, hotels, sandwich shops, coffee houses, and fine-dining restaurants. Lori is a graduate of the New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business. She was hired directly out of college by Marriott corporation in sales & marketing and stayed with Marriott for 10 years, moving every two years or so to a new city. It was the constant moving that made her decide to make a change. In 1993, she started her own convention concierge service: creative dining & entertainment at the convention center/Marriott/grand Hyatt in san Antonio, tx. in November of 2007, Lori and her husband, Doug, opened the first location of dough pizzeria. They currently have three locations: two in San Antonio and one in Plano, TX. they are now working on their newest concept: dough to go!
